Hi everyone!
I got a lot of feedback from people both via email and in these forums
on the first version 1.0 of SP-Madman. The biggest complaint I got was,
that it was too easy to get lost (for example ending up on the madmans
island before you were supposed to).
The objectives are a lot clearer now, and finding the different things
you need to progress in the level should be less frustrating.
I also included the .cry files for you guys to check out.

I took these from: http://crymods.net/download.php?view.65
and http://crymods.net/download.php?view.10
- you have to be logged in to crymods.net forum to see the pages I think...

This is cryengine 1 of course but included here for historic reasons. The madman archive contains 2 singleplayer maps.

some praise:

Hey Sandhesten!
I moved the thread to the mapping forum where it belongs to Wink I'll
have a look into that map as soon as I got a bit time left, but I'm
sure it is at least as good as your first one!

This map is absolutely fantastic! You really managed to create
something uniqe! The enviroment was beautiful and the gameplay was
great! I loved the tribal cave with the interesting creatures who dwell
there Wink That boss was very hard to beat.
Keep up the good work! Simply amazing!

I love what the author did with these levels, especially the second level. I only wish the first level was a little longer in game play, because both these levels overall are a thrill to play. You can tell the author put a lot of thought into these levels.

Great SP levels, Sandhesten.

This download contains two maps. The first one is quite short, you can see it as an intro to the second map. The story is good, very good. Some kind of guy takes the place of Doyle, but this guy isn't as helpful as Doyle. You're on your own, most of the time. Although, sometimes he asks for a favor, like turning on the lighthouse and firing some cannons. The end is quite creepy, I scared a bit in some parts of the mansion, but I don't want to spoil too much. It's a good map with nice scenery and a fine story. Definitely worth trying.
Very short and easy with no real objective. Flawless game play though.
I`ve kicked myself in the ass for not playing this sooner...
Awesome map.
